Would you like to purposefully align your values with your checkbook,
and your finances with your deepest desire and future dream?
Are you perplexed, bewildered, worried, disheartened, fuming, or feuding
about a money matter important to you? Want support for walking the path
to a restored sense of peace, safety and security?
Asking yourself this question: how might we women companion one another
(and the men & children who love us) to live soulfully in this material world?
Then welcome to the public home of The Feminine Face of Money!
It’s your homeplace too.
There is a saying, `You can't go home again.' It is not true. While you cannot crawl back into the uterus again, you can return to the soul-home. It is not only possible, it is requisite."
~ Clarissa Pinkola Estes
Houses belonged to women… special domains… places where all that truly mattered in life took place – the warmth, the comfort of shelter, the feeding of our bodies, the nurturing of our souls. There we learned dignity, integrity of being, there we learned to have faith…
An interactive, results-oriented seminar offered by The Feminine Face of Money® and Dianne Juhl, filmed on location at the 17th Annual Women of Wisdom Conference dedicated to Building Bridges for Global Community Through Social Activism, Seattle WA.
A recent Seattle-area event based on Riane Eisler's book, The Real Wealth of Nations: Creating a Caring Economics, was attended by more than 70 practicing professionals from around the country and all walks of life - organizations from San Diego to Washington, D.C. were represented. The 2-day conference laid the groundwork for a new "Community Presenters Program", designed to spread the concepts of "the real wealth of nations" via our professional practices.
If you or interested others want a thought-provoking synopsis about the deeper meanings of "The Real Wealth of Nations", I'm offering a one-hour presentation either in-person or online.
In the midst of destruction, the people have sown enough seeds of life to be able to trust in the possibility of a tomorrow. Let us gather those seeds to cultivate the plant of mental health. Let it not be said that while humankind moves its life forward, we mental health professionals resign ourselves to living in the past. There will be healthy, free, and creative minds in our country to the extent that we enjoy a free, dynamic and just social body. For this reason, the challenge is not limited to addressing the destruction and disorders… The challenge is to construct a new person in a new society.”
Dianne Juhl, Founder & CEO of The Feminine Face of Money®
Highly sought-after money psychologist, inspirational speaker and entrepreneur Dianne Juhl started her “complicated” relationship with money as a working class farm girl in rural Iowa. Escaping the “poverty mentality” that she grew up with, Dianne struggled and fought her way up the socioeconomic ladder--and got her first lesson in the way money really works when her successful career at Microsoft turned her into an unexpected millionaire.
Today Dianne calls on her experiences as a woman who’s been poor, been rich and (and lived through the ups and downs of both) to completely transform the way that women feel about and interact with money for both personal gain and the greater good.
Through interactive program offerings and private consultations, as well as free-lance writing and guest speaker engagements around the world, Dianne champions women (and the men who love them) to:
Develop monetary peace of mind . . .
Grow their financial savvy . . .
Make wiser and more emotionally satisfying money decisions . . .
Manage and reduce debt wisely . . .
Give young people the "money smarts" they need
for a bright financial future…
Survive (and thrive) through major life transitions such as career changes, children, marriage and retirement . . .
Invest and spend for a better world . . .
Speak and understand the language of money . . .
Earn what they are truly worth . . .
Contribute powerfully to worthwhile causes . . .
And develop a happier, healthier relationship with wealth.
Dianne is renowned for her intuitive ability to dig deep into the emotional aspects of money as well as the fears and mental blocks that keep so many women from attaining their financial dreams.
Dianne has decades of public speaking experience, over 25 years coaching experience, and nimbly applies her considerable depth psychological insight to the issues at hand. Dianne is currently working towards her Doctorate in Depth Psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English, Education and Coaching from Luther College and a Masters of Information Science from the University of Washington.
Dianne has also done post-graduate work in coaching corporate teams, design anthropology, women's & gender studies, and completed a women’s integral leadership development certificate program at Antioch University.
Ultimately Dianne’s life journey, successful business career, educational and athletic achievements, community work and service experiences afford her a discerning perspective about a wide range of women’s lived experiences as it relates to both money and economics.
When not helping women make more money, master wealth, and affirm their worth, Dianne loves spending time with friends and family at her Bainbridge Island home, bicycling, hiking and kayaking in nature, serving her school district’s Multicultural Advisory Committee, working with social justice causes, or contributing in other ways to her lovely island community and local living economy.
“Dianne is a gifted coach. She blends practical, easy to implement actions with her passion to share the transformative power of a positive relationship with money. Dianne listens with her whole being and offers financially savvy guidance that is right for you.”
-- Cindy Scheelsmith, President, Eriks West Inc.
“From the get-go I have valued Dianne's advice. She is as sharp as a tack! Dianne looks at things from all angles, asks pertinent questions, researches as necessary and arrives at sound conclusions. Engaging her in my quest for the preservation of my wealth and that of my mother and aunt has been absolutely worthwhile! An outstanding return on investment!!”
-- Julie Lightfoot – business owner, technical solutions provider, systems analyst
“A master of improvisation and a brilliant, gifted story-finder, Dianne could teach both Carl Jung and Sherlock Holmes a thing or two about myth and mystery and she thoroughly understands how wealth affects a woman’s dreams, because she’s walked the path herself.”
-- Deirdre Duffy - writer, musician, designer, and mother of three
“In today’s world where one in three women will experience some form of violence Dianne Juhl is providing a unique and powerful insight into the intersection of financial freedom and ending violence against women. Calling upon her intelligence, wit and compassionate soul, Dianne’s work is attractive to us evolving women. She makes a compelling case for how women and men feel and relate differently to money. Dianne helped me increase and transform my financial competency so that I can more easily and rapidly move the work of One in Three Women™ forward, expanding our program work, and our annual revenue.”
“Dianne is a gifted money mentor with an enthusiastic flare. I have witnessed her powerful philosophy of creating a giving plan to “pay it forward” which has proven to be lucrative for non-profit organizations and young entrepreneurs. It’s a true inspiration to work with someone who has the ability to empower you to reach higher ideals.”
-- Charisa Moore - High school teacher, married mom of two teen daughters, and actively involved in community service
"I experience Dianne as being a natural and passionate abundance coach. In the casual flow of any conversation I share with her, --indeed, simply being in her presence, --I notice old thoughts of "lack" dissolving into new doorways in my awareness ... and, I find myself welcoming and experiencing abundance in ways I never have, before. What a blessing!"
~ Jill Harris, Reiki Master and Oneness Blessing Facilitator
On the one hand, the quest has been deeply personal: that of a woman striving to affirm the feminine as wife, mother, friend, while reaching, always reaching, beyond the limits imposed by the obligations of a woman’s life. On the other hand, it has been in some sense deeply public as well: that of a person struggling to connect to the undertaking of education… to the making and remaking of a public space, a space of dialogue and possibility… The aim is to find (or create) an authentic public space… in which diverse human beings can appear for one another as, to quote Hanna Arendt, “to be the best they know how to be.”

When I met Dianne six years ago, I was full of ideas on how to make things better but frustrated with how little I could do as a teenager. Despite my age, Dianne showed me the same respect she showed adults. Because she valued my ideas, despite their being different from hers at times, and never doubted my abilities to make significant change at my age, I was able to focus my vision into a concrete and viable plan. Dianne acted as my personal scribe and motivator throughout the grant-writing process. Thanks to my success under her guidance, I have realized what I am capable of."
