Dianne Juhl, M.A., is the founder of The Feminine Face of Money®, and a PhD candidate in depth psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute. As a practicing consultant, she advises women dealing with their money emotions, bringing experience and wisdom gained through extensive training and her own personal money journey.
Mara Lindbergh, LMP, CST, has 20 years of experience in the fields of bodywork, healing, and Authentic Movement & Witnessing. Mara’s grounded and intuitive facilitation invites you to go deeper into your authentic self, discovering through the body how to transform dis-ease into ease, balance and flow. She is co-founder and owner of Waters Edge Wellness Center.
Deborah Jane Milton is a visionary artist, spiritual mentor and eco-psychologist, who inspires integral consciousness, purpose-full aliveness and the artistry of grounded authenticity. She founded Athanor Arts - a Haven for the Creative Spirit and earned a Ph.D. from Bryn Mawr College. Deborah is the 2010 Artist-in-Residence at The Feminine Face of Money®.
Danette Costello, LMP, has 25 years experience with healing modalities. Danette’s embodied presence is uniquely expressed through her voice medicine – in song and sound – which lands in you as blessing and invites you to pass along as blossom. She is the owner of Hummingbird Healing Arts.
Seminar Introduction/Overview
Money is often a highly emotional topic, and the complex facts of money are like a vast ocean. In this environment, a woman can experience confusing thoughts, money worries, or perhaps silently suffer a conflicted, confounded relationship with money. These emotions can endure, in spite of our many years of work on our selves. This weekend retreat is dedicated to women’s emotional well-being and healing this situation.
The in-depth seminar experience offers you the time and space to access the wisdom of your mind, body, heart and soul. Here we honor your rational mind which has served development and invite you to re-member your instinctual sense of dynamic stability which renews confidence. We support you to make friends with your money emotions so you can hear the clear, guiding voice of your own intuitive knowing.

Course Design
Holistic, in body and mind
We begin by quieting the mind with a contemplative practice. This practice encourages us to be fully present in the moment, invites the wisdom of the body into our work together, and deepens our awareness of self and other. The elegant form affords time for compassionate listening to self, moving meditation, reflection and meaningful dialogue. See a video of a previous FFOM Seminar.
A journey of exploration in a safe and sacred environment
Next, we will work our money questions and relax into a space of reflection and self-relation. This can source inspiration, expand the diaphragm of your awareness, and make conscious what has been invisible to you. We host our questions in a mutually-created environment that values curiosity and inquiry.
Guided conversation with your money question is supported by The Feminine Face of Money signature approach - Discover, Dream, Dare-To-Do, and Dialogue. The approach is experiential, participatory, and practical. Each woman interacts with her own wisdom, new insights, and significantly with the group as a whole. This exchange allows us to experience knowledge both individually and collectively. Such experiences can be the best teachers.
Threaded into and through the retreat experience, we engage with a well-known, ancient story about women, the men who love us, and the marketplace. The story serves as a touchstone to explore the initiation of the feminine psyche and our cultural assumptions about money. Its archetypal themes will reverberate in your imagination. This tale’s plotline offers you a potentially useful metaphor for re-visioning your own money story with awakened mythic imagination. There’s wisdom in this story and in us awaiting to be discovered.
Bringing it all together…
Then, we'll explore the most important question of all: what does it mean to have an affirming internal dialogue with money? Together we’ll address three critical issue areas that can trouble us in our daily life with money. Once resolved, these emotional liabilities convert to valuable assets. You can apply this trio of skills to realizing the transformational shift you seek. Dream-tending, music, art, poetry, journal-writing, and ritual will invite your creativity and support you in metabolizing the breakthroughs and a-ha moments experienced.
…and taking it home
Finally, we'll explore what it means for each of us to take everything we've learned and experienced in this retreat into the material world of our everyday lives. There is no formula for this choice-making so each woman receives dedicated time and attention to express her choices, reality-check her perspective, and celebrate her knowing. The intention is to prepare yourself to unapologetically initiate meaningful dialogues about money and conduct your finances accordingly.
